TERMS OF SERVICE
GENERAL
• Prices may vary depending of complexity of your order!
• I have the right to reject any order for any reason
PAYMENT
• Payment through PayPal ONLY with invoice
• Payment is in CAD (use price converter if needed)
• 100% payment upfront, can discuss payment plans for art over $100
• I will send the invoice to your PayPal account when price is decided
PROCESS
• Time taken may vary depending on the commission and your slot, but a general time can be from a few weeks to a month or 2
• Time also depends on personal life and work (if anything comes up for me I will let you know)
• You will get an updates for each stage (ex. Sketch, lines, colour, and shading) please don’t be afraid to let me know any changes you want done after each update as changes later on may cost extra!!
• Once the piece has been finished and approved, you will get the full-resolution image
REVISION
• Please let me know anything that you want changed before I move on to the next stages! Major changes later on cost extra!
• A fee will also be added if you want something changed after the art is finished
• There will be a fee if you want something changed that was previously approved
Copyright and Usage
➤ I, Ravincat (the artist):
• I have the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason
• I have all copyrights over the commissioned artwork
• I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned work
• I will NOT profit any further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms
• I have the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well in any sort of publications (such as art books)
➤ You (the customer/commissioner):
• You MAY upload the commissioned artwork on any website/social media
• You may NOT make any profit from the commissioned work (reselling, redistributing, making prints, etc.)
• You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist’s) consent
• You MAY sell the artwork ONLY if it is apart of an adoptable
• You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP)
• You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes
Copyright infringement:
• Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially (making money off it in any way)
• Claiming the artwork as your own
• Altering the artwork without my consent
I am not accepting commercial commissions at this time
Cancellation and Refund Policy
• The customer/commissioner is not allowed a refund after I have started working on the commission.
• If for any reason I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund
• If you cancel your order before I have started the commission, you will get a full refund
• If you are getting a refund, do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself
• If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund, you will lose all previously mentioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talked about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted from commissioning me again.
What you will get
• Quick drafts/mockups which you can decide which one you want me to continue with
• Sketch and final sketch before I continue onto the next stage
• Line-art stage updates
• Colour plan for the piece and further updates
• Full-resolution file of the final drawing and smaller version for internet upload (the format for the piece will be set to a png format)
